The first day of 2013 is gloomy. I planed to go out ,but the bad weathermake me feel lazy,I do not want to go outdoor. My roommates and I just stay in the dormitory , I did some reading . I have prepared a lot for killing time. I borrowed a lot of books from library. Last night ,I received some messages from my friends.They were sohappy for the coming of 2010.In fact ,I do not feel very happy, just like ususl,do homewoke,reading ,nothing new. My friend said,I should go out to play ,but Iam too lazy too do that. I am waiting for the winter holiday,I miss my parentsI want to go home.
2013的第一天我心情非常郁闷。我计划外出，但恶劣的天气使我感到懒洋洋的，我不想出去了。我的室友和我都呆在宿舍里，我读了一些书。我已经筹备了不少书来打发时间。我从图书馆借了不少书。昨天晚上，我收到我朋友的一条短信。他们非常高兴2013的到来。事实上，我并不感觉非常高兴，我就像平时一样，写作业，阅读，没什么新的。我的朋友说，我应该要出去玩玩，但我太懒了。我在等着寒假的到来，我想我的爸爸妈妈，我想回家。
评论：gloomy既能够形容心情不好，郁闷也可以形容天气阴沉沉的；outdoor是户外的意思而相反的indoor是室内的意思；roommate是合成词room+mate是室友的意思和classmate（同学）的组成是一样的；kill time是消磨时间的意思。
I am going to have a barbecue tomorrow afternoon . Today after class ,myteacher asked me to go to his office because there are some missions for me tothis activity. I went tooffice with two of my classmates . My teacher said :”You have no class tomorrowafternoon , so I want you to go to the supermarket to buy some materials !” Allof us became worried ,because we did not buy this kind of things before ,and wedo not know how much we need to prepare . Then we even do not know which bus weshould take to go to our destination . Our teacher said :” There are nothingthat you need to worried about ,you get a problem ,call me !”So kind is he !
明天下午我计划去烧烤。今天下课后，我的老师叫我去他的办公室，由于他有一些关于明天这个活动的任务要交给我。我和我的两个同学去到办公室。老师说：“你们明天下午没课，所以我想叫你去超市买一些材料！“大家都非常担忧，由于大家之前都没买过这种东西，大家不了解要买多少。大家甚至不了解要坐哪一路公交车去到目的地。老师说：“你们什么都无需担忧，假如遇见问题，打电话给我！“他是那样好啊！

This noon, one of my classmate came to my dormitory and asked me if I couldhelp them answer the teacher while calling their name in the afternoon,becausethey do not want to attend this boring class. The afternoon class is about thepolitic class, which we have learned in our high school . I really hate that.Cross my heart ,I wanted to stay at dormitory too. I wanted to say nothing,I do not like to helpthem cheat the teacher ,but I know, if I do not help them, they will be angry,after ,they will refuse to help me in all situation .That is anther lesson Ilearn from school.Sometimes ,I have to do something I really hate.They know Iwill always come to class because I have promised myself that I will not miss alesson during college. Maybe this is a stupid promise,but I will never broke itif there is nothing bad happen.
今天中午，我的一个同学来到我宿舍，问我是不是能帮他们在下午的课上应到假如老师点名的话，由于他们不想去上那无聊的课。下午的课是大家在高中就学过的政治课。我非常讨厌那样。说真的，我也想呆在宿舍。我什么都不想说，我不喜欢帮他们欺骗老师，但我了解，假如我不帮助他们，他们就会生气，之后，他们也会在各方面拒绝帮助我。这是我从学校学到的经验。有时，我需要做我讨厌做的事。他们了解我会来上课，由于我答应过我一个人，在大学期间很好过一节课。或许这是一个愚蠢的承诺，但假如没什么不好的事情发生我不会打破它的。
评论：早上，中午，晚上的表达有morning，noon，evening；lesson既有课程的意思也有教训的意思，learn a lesson可以说是得到一个教训；promise承诺，许诺既有动词也有名词的意思。
